After 5 years hiatus from Korean entertainment, Harisu announce her comeback with teaser video for new title song, “Shopping Girl.”
Harisu’s last album was “Winter Special”, which released in 2007.
According to Soompi, the song is to be one of three new songs in Harisu’s upcoming album, “The Queen.” Star Shop Entertainment representative explained that the launch date has been decided for July 9. However, Harisu won’t be coming back on stage for a while, due to her busy schedule in Japan and China.
“She will be intensely focused on her album activities for about two to three months following her comeback to the Korean music scene. Music shows and talk shows are definitely on the agenda.”
The year (2007) was also noteworthy for tying the knot with singer Micky Jung. The marriage had gained massive media attention as Korea’s first transsexual star finally became a happy bride for her soul mate. Soon after, she resumed activities overseas and has been busy ever since.
To date, Harisu has released five albums, and despite the fact that she hasn’t been active as a singer, she has participated in various movies and TV programs. Most recently, she appeared in the drama “Saving Mrs. Go Bong Shil” also starring f(x) Luna.
