Fashion Wanna Be : Preppy Like INFINITE’s Sungjong

Well this is probably my first Fashion article for KPOPEDiA, and I decided to choose this lovely maknae from INFINITE, Lee Sungjong!

We are all know that INFINITE’s Sungjong sometimes look really stand out among the other member in fashion sense. Not with a lot of accesories like his lovable hyung-like member Dongwoo, he choose to be look so casual with pastel or bright colours t-shirt, and short pants.

In their latest variety show Mnet “RANKING KING”, Lee Sungjong was receive 2nd rank on the episode “Fashion King”, while INFINITE visual L receive 1st.

This is the photoshoot result, Lee Sungjong for 1st Look Magazine. In 8th episode, visual director Park Man Hyun and top model Song Kyung Ah even praise him for carrying ‘overseas fashion’ feeling in his photoshoot.

If we watch through their latest show “Ranking King”, INFINITE’s Sungjong always wear simple and casual clothes like : stripped-shirt, knit-sweater, cardigan, blazer, skinny jeans, and knee-length short trousers, those are Lee Sungjong’s ‘must-have’ fashion items.

What I really love from INFINITE’s Sungjong fashion are clean face, fresh make-up, skin-matched t-shirt, and simple. Really preppy! Even the most simple-cut t shirt matched him well.

Keep your look simple, if your clothes flashy, complicated or revealing, it probably shouldn’t be called preppy.

Build a classic wardrobe, focus on choosing items that are well-made, will last for ages, and won’t go out of style in six months. what colors look good on you, buy what fits (not too loosen or tight), pick up some classic staples (clothes which last for years, like denim jeans, knit-sweater, cardigans,etc)
Simple and classy accesories
Style your hairs in natural ways. For boys : avoid wet-look, and for girl : keep a simple style, maybe with a headband, don’t keep your hair hanging down messy
Wear simple makeup, daily routine make-up, light foundation that match your skin colour, stay fresh, avoid heavy mascara, eyeliner or lipstick. It will be good to wear make-up that show your natural beauty.
